BASIC HERMENEUTICS

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Basic Hermeneutics covers the essential elements of a historical-grammatical approach to interpreting Scripture.  It introduces the student to some of the necessary ingredients for faithfully investigating the meaning of the biblical text without improperly importing meaning from outside the text or arriving at a meaning that does not fit the context of the passage.
